Q: Can I go to any office to see any provider?

A: AOC has 17 doctors who are all sub-specialized, however each doctor sees patients at different offices. AOC’s main office is located in Athens, and we offer 8 outreach locations for your convenience. Please reference our Locations page for more information.

Q: Do I need a referral to see a provider?

A: You only need a referral if your insurance requires that you have one before seeing a specialist.

Medicare Advantage plans that pay per Medicare guidelines are accepted at AOC, however, any Advantage Plans that do not pay per Medicare guidelines are considered Out of Network

We do not file Medicaid except for instances where it is secondary to Medicare

Q: How do I make an appointment?

Q: How do I get a prescription refill?

A: If you need a prescription refilled, please call your pharmacy. For drugs requiring a written prescription, please call 706.549.1663 and ask to speak with your doctor’s nurse.

Q: How can I get copies of my records?

A: For medical records and disability/FMLA, please call 706.549.1663.  Please allow 10 days for processing.

Q: May I fax my Medical Records or Disability/FMLA Form to AOC?

A: Yes. The fax number for Medical Records is 706-354-0800.  The fax number for Disability/FMLA is 706-546-8792.
