Jian Hu, MD

Jian Hu grew up in Chongqing, Peoples Republic of China. He received his Bachelor of Medicine and Doctor of Medicine from the Third Military Medical University in Chongqing. During that time, he also completed an Orthopaedic & Tramatology Residency and later received his Doctorate of Philosophy in Medical Science with a concentration on Neuroscience. After moving to the U.S. in 1998, Jian held a Surgery Internship at the University of North Dakota, and subsequently completed a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Residency at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where he was appointed Chief Resident. He then completed a Pain Medicine Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Jian is now a Board Certified physician by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Specialized in pain management, Jian offers the most advanced treatments and therapies to support and accelerates the prognosis. Jian now lives in Athens with his wife, Gui and two daughters, Anne and Jenny. Jian enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, photography, fishing, swimming, playing badminton and tennis.
