Karin joined the AOC team in September 2011. Previously she worked in the outpatient hand therapy clinic at Athens Regional Medical Center for 18 years. Karin earned her Specialty Certification in Hand Therapy in 2000 and is experienced in treating multiple traumatic injuries of the elbow, forearm, wrist and hand. She also brings occupational health experience including functional capacity evaluations, impairment ratings, disability evaluations and onsite ergonomic assessments. Karin believes that connecting with a patient emotionally, caring for them individually and exercising sound clinical judgment is the platform for success in improving each patient’s functional ability and independence. Outside of work, Karin enjoys spending time with her family, church and friends.
