Kayla started her career at Athens Orthopedic Clinic as an occupational therapy technician in 2012. During that time she was attending Brenau University and in 2015 earned the degree of Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. Prior to rejoining the hand therapy team at AOC as an occupational therapist in April 2019, Kayla worked primarily with geriatric patients with various conditions in a skilled nursing facility. Kayla has a passion for helping every patient improve their independence in daily activities and participate in the activities that are important and meaningful to him or her.
Outside of work, Kayla enjoys spending time with her husband, two dogs and two cats, traveling, and participating in aerial classes at Canopy Studio.
