Kelsey is a Snellville native and a graduate of Brookwood High School. She joined the AOC family in Fall of 2018. She was born at Eastside and every member of her family has been a patient at AOC. In fact, Kelsey first discovered AOC when she was a college student at UGA. She was seen at our urgent care facility in Athens and was found to have a finger fracture. She ended up having same day surgery at our Athens surgical center. She was so impressed with the process and how well she was treated, that she knew this was where she wanted to work one day.
Kelsey has dabbled in almost every sport you can name, but mostly enjoys playing disc golf and racquetball. Her absolute favorite thing to do is take her dog, Mollie, to the dog park. She even recently held a “puppy birthday party” when Mollie turned two. Kelsey enjoys hiking and backpacking. Every fall she meets up with classmates for an overnight backpacking trip in the mountains. Kelsey volunteers abroad annually on medical mission trips and has been to Honduras, Peru, Haiti, Ghana, and Nicaragua.
Kelsey accepts walk ins, same day, and next day appointments in the Snellville location. Additionally, she performs arthrogram injections in the Snellville and Loganville locations. She works primarily on the Sports Medicine and Total Joint teams. Though she is a Brookwood grad, she trades in her maroon and gold for navy and silver on Friday nights to provide orthopedic care for the South Gwinnett Comets football team.
