Mike Boblitz is a seasoned healthcare executive with over 20 years of leadership experience, specializing in strategic growth, operational excellence, and patient-focused care. As Chief Executive Officer of Athens Orthopedic Clinic (AOC), he is committed to advancing the clinic’s legacy of exceptional orthopedic care while modernizing operations to enhance patient accessibility and outcomes. Before joining AOC, Boblitz led Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic (TOC) through significant advancements in orthopedic services. His career also includes key leadership roles at renowned institutions such as Johns Hopkins, where he helped develop a state-of-the-art hospital, and Gwinnett Health System, where he strengthened operational efficiencies over seven years.

Boblitz’s passion for orthopedics stems from his upbringing in Charlottesville, Virginia, where his father served as Chief of Orthopedics at UVA for nearly five decades. He pursued a degree in sports medicine at James Madison University before transitioning into healthcare administration, where he has remained dedicated to creating patient-centered models of care. As a leader, Boblitz prioritizes collaboration, innovation, and accessibility, ensuring that AOC continues to provide world-class, specialized orthopedic care under one roof.

A dedicated father of two, he is also actively involved in his community, coaching youth sports and fostering partnerships to expand healthcare access across Northeast Georgia
