What is Interventional Pain Management?
Interventional pain management involves special procedures to treat and manage pain, which can include a numbing injection of an anesthetic medicine or steroid around nerves, tendons, joints or muscles; spinal cord stimulation; or a procedure with radio-frequency ablation or cryoablation to stop a nerve from sending pain signals for a long period of time. We aim to stop chronic pain as much as possible.
How We Can Help
Our interventional pain management team specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of acute to chronic pain conditions with techniques that help improve quality of life and, more importantly, your daily function. This includes a comprehensive examination, imaging as needed, electrodiagnostic testing if required, and injections to help find the area of pathology.
Through this, we can lower how often you feel pain, reduce pain severity, end sleep problems, increase your activity level, and improve your quality of life.
