About Juri van der Heijden
Juri started his medical career on the ski slopes in Colorado 29 years ago working as a Ski Patroller.
After working there for a number of years, he relocated to Georgia and continued working as a paramedic in the Conyers and Covington area as well as in the ER and as a Life Flight Medic at Georgia Baptist Hospital in Atlanta. He received his Physician Assistant’s Master’s degree at Emory University in 2004 then returned to Covington, GA to practice. Juri is the Physician Assistant to Orthopedic surgeon, Mason Florence, MD.
